The Health Services Division is designed to meet the medical and behavioral health needs of juvenile offenders.
There are three main areas covered by the Health Services Division:
- Assessment Services - provides comprehensive mental health assessments, substance use assessments, and/or psychological evaluations as needed and appropriate.
- Medical Services - provides around-the-clock care to youth in the Department's detention and residential facilities.
- Treatment & Counseling - provides treatment and interventions to juveniles and their families. The types of services offered include crisis-intervention, individual, group, and family therapy, substance use treatment, and sexual offender treatment.
