Deadline - February 1, 2010: The deadline to register for voting in the March 2, 2010 Joint Primary Election is Monday, February 1, 2010. If you did not receive a new, blue voter card by mail, or if you need to register to vote, visit the Tax Office web site or call 854-9473 for help.

CAMTS Assesses STAR Flight Accreditation Status
Deadline - February 1, 2010: 
The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Standards (CAMTS) assesses patient care and the safety of emergency transportation. During their assesment, CAMTS site surveyors will interview parties with relevant information. Requests for public information interviews must be made in writing and sent in no later than 5 business days before the site survey begins.

Fee Increases for New Year
Increases for fees associated with some development permits and misdemeanor criminal cases go into effect on January 1, 2010.
H1N1 Flu Clinics Expanded to General Public
The Austin/Travis County Health and Human Services Department has expanded its H1N1 flu clinics to include anyone who would like to receive an H1N1 flu vaccine. All Shots for Tots / Big Shots locations are providing the vaccine and two H1N1 flu shot clinics are scheduled for January. Vaccines are available by appointment only.
Central Campus Master Plan
Travis County is preparing a Strategic Needs Analysis and Facilities Master Plan for its Central Campus, to plan for the appropriate space for county services in the downtown area, from today until 2035. For more information, visit the Central Campus Study project website.

FY 2010 Tax Rate Information: TRAVIS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.
