Travis County Probate Court
Continuing Legal Education
The Probate Court’s “First Friday” Continuing Legal Education Brown-Bag Lunch Series continues with a two-session "Guardianship Ad Litem Certification" series on Friday, February 7 and Friday, March 7.
This series is different from our typical CLE programs in several important ways:
- Each session is 1 ½ hours, a half-hour longer than our usual programs. (Each session will run from 12:15-1:45, with check-in beginning shortly before noon.)
- This two-session series is intended for attorneys who are seeking attorney ad litem certification for guardianship work and who are interested in serving as ad litems in guardianship cases in Travis County. It is not intended for attorneys seeking general CLE credits, although CLE credits are available for attorneys who attend all 3 hours of the course. (Partial credit is not available.) FYI, the State Bar of Texas has a $25 processing fee for certification.
- We will take reservations for the two-session series, but not for either session individually.
- Open registration is now available.
To register, please contact Tanya Scanlon, Court Coordinator, at Tanya.Scanlon@co.travis.tx.us. In your email to Tanya, please confirm that you are signing up for both February 7 and March 7 and that you know each session is 1 ½ hours.
We will confirm successful reservations with an email in return.
