The Civil Division keeps records for the Travis County Civil County Courts at Law. (Documents filed since January 2005 are currently available online at http://tccweb.co.travis.tx.us.) The office issues citations, writs of execution, abstracts of judgment, letters of guardianship, letters testamentary, protective orders, notices, and other documents as required by law or requested by customers. The civil courts hear cases on debt, injury, damages, domestic violence, condemnation, bond forfeitures, etc.

- Customer requesting cause number or the status of a case filed after June 1986 and appears on the automated system. (NO Charge - Call 854-9188)
- Customer requesting cause number or status of a case filed before June 1986 that requeires reviewing microfilm records. ( There is a $10.00 charge per name per decade of film searched. Customer suggests the order decades are researched.)
