STAR Flight (Shock Trauma Air Rescue) is a unique public safety air rescue program that performs everything from the transport of critically ill patients to fire fighting, and rescue to law enforcement. STAR Flight also operates within the Special Operations Command of Austin-Travis County EMS allowing us the ability to safely and competently extricate patients from high hazard environments.
