Bastrop County Debris Management Program ![]()
Bastrop County announced today the roll-out of the County Debris Management Program for the Bastrop County Fire Complex and the Union Chapel Fire Complex.

- The Red Cross of Central Texas is accepting monetary donations -- call 512-928-4271. They also have a list of organizations accepting food and clothing donations on their website: The Red Cross of Central Texas.
- Accepting donations (no cash) at 3434 Yogi Berra Way, Round Rock (private residence). Off Highway 79 north of the Dell Diamond (map). Call Angela Johnson at 512-740-6096 or visit their www.facebook.com/CentralTexasFires2011. Efforts are now focusing on helping the fire fighters.
- A Distribution Center for Victims of Bastrop County fires Facebook page has been set up to fill immediate needs for towels, washcloths and toiletry items.
- Faith Family Services in Hutto is coordinating emergency housing with area homes. They will also pick up and deliver your clothing and food donations to area pantries and other organizations. Call 210-334-1708 or email faithfamilyhomes@yahoo.com.
Pet and Large Animal Care
- Austin Pets Alive can help with displaced pets. Email at pass@austinpetsalive.org or call at 512-961-6433
- Large animals such as livestock can be sheltered at the Georgetown Rodeo Arena in San Gabriel Park, just off I-35 in Georgetown. RV hookups are available at the arena.
- The Travis County Exposition Center has also set up stalls for displaced horses. Call (512) 854-4900.
