Park Tech I / West District Parks (Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal) $11.00
Job summary: Responsible for the collection of gate receipts, control and distribution of permits, visitor information/
public relations, patrolling and monitoring visitor activity with parks, assisting in enforcing park rules/
regulations. Serves as a team member or independent worker on a variety of park resources. Collects,
safeguards, and accurately records park fees.
Education and Experience: Equivalent to High School diploma or GED.
Preferred: *Customer service
and Parks experience. *Experience with cash handling and calculating change
Park Tech I /East District Parks (Part-time, Temporay, Seasonal) $11.00
Job summary:
Responsible for litter and trash control. Light maintenance and facility cleaning. Visitor information/
public relations, patrolling and monitoring visitor activity within parks. Assisting in enforcing park rules/
regulations. Serves as a team member or independent worker on a variety of park resources.
Education and Experience: Equivalent to High School diploma or G.E.D.
Preferred: *Customer service
and Parks experience.
Park Tech II / East District Parks (Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal) $12.00
Job summary: Responsible for litter and trash control. Light maintenance and facility cleaning. Visitor information/ public relations, patrolling and monitoring visitor activity within parks. Assisting in enforcing park rules/ regulations and serves as a team member or independent worker on a variety of park resources. Supervises Seasonal Park Techician I position.
Minimum requirements: Education and experience equivalent to a High School diploma or GED and a combination of two (2)
years park, cash handling or customer service experience.
Licenses, Registrations, Certifications, or Special Requirements: Valid Texas Driver's License
Preferred: *Lead or supervisory experience. *Customer Service and Parks experience. *First Aid, CPR
or EMT Certification.
