Transportation & Natural Resources
Transportation and Natural Resources (TNR) is a very diverse department, responsible for:
- The engineering, design, construction, and maintenance of Travis County roads, drainage and bridges;
- Fleet services for all county vehicles and equipment;
- Environmental protection;
- Solid waste management and resource conservation;
- Parks and natural resource preservation;
- Capital improvement projects;
- Land development review, permits and flood plain management regulations in Travis County.
