Transportation and Natural Resources (TNR) is a very diverse department,
responsible for:
- the engineering, design, construction, and maintenance of Travis County roads, drainage and bridges;
- fleet services for all county vehicles and equipment;
- environmental protection;
- solid waste management and resource conservation;
- parks and natural resource preservation;
- capital improvement projects;
- land development review, permits and flood plain management regulations in Travis County.
