Requirements and Deadline
- Travis County applications are accepted only for posted positions.
- Position title and title code number must be recorded on the application.
- Travis County applications should be typed or printed (black or blue ink only).
- The State of Texas application will not be accepted as a substitute for a Travis County Application.
- Travis County application(s) must be returned to the Human Resources Management Department before 5:00 pm on the closing date. Travis County application(s) submitted by mail must be postmarked by the closing date.
Resume
- A resume may be attached to the Travis County application. All electronic attachments must be in Word or PDF format.
- A resume will not be accepted as a substitute for the Travis County application.
Other Information
- Applicants applying for multiple positions within the same department must submit a separate Travis County application for each position.
- For positions requiring a specific typing speed, contact the Workforce Solutions Career Center at (512) 454-9675 to schedule a typing test. Attach test results to completed Travis County application(s).
- The Human Resources Management Department forwards your Travis County applications to the hiring department for consideration. A representative from the hiring department will contact you only if they are interested in scheduling an interview.
Travis County Sheriff Office Application Information
- The Travis County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) requires applicants pick up and return a Pre-employment Screening Checklist in person at 5555 N. Airport Blvd.
