Resources and Information
For information on resources and programs available including case management, please call TIDR (Texas Interagency Interfaith Disaster Response) at 458-8848, or visit the TIDR website.
Tell them you are a hurricane survivor needing help or information; or, you are looking for resources for hurricane survivors . Either they will be able to assist you by working with you directly or will refer you to those resources/programs available that may be able to assist you.
FEMA
If denied FEMA assistance or appealing a denial, make sure you are working with either the Texas Legal Services Center-477-6000 or Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid -toll free number 1-866-757-1570. Both are free.
If you are receiving FEMA benefits or going through appeal of a denial of benefits and do not have a case manager, contact TIDR at the above number to get the latest information on what is needed to stay current with FEMA.
It is very important for everyone who receives FEMA benefits or who are still
possibly eligible for FEMA benefits to stay current with FEMA.
