Emergency Assistance

Requirements

Assistance is not guaranteed, receiving services depends on:

  • If funds are available
  • If you meet the income guidelines
  • If you bring all the required paperwork
  • How recently you've received services in the past

Family Support Services Staff will review all information to determine whether you are eligible for services.

Emergency Help:

  • Rent/Mortgage Assistance
  • Utility Assistance
  • Food Vouchers
  • Clothes Closet *
  • Food Pantry
  • Prescriptions
  • Indigent Burials (downtown only)
  • Emergency out-of-town Transportation (on a limited basis)
  • Medical Access Program (MAP)
