Youth Flexible Funds Expansion

Project Description:

The Youth and Family Assessment Center Flex Fund (YFAC) provides funds to obtain services for children or youth facing emotional or behavioral challenges and living in the unincorporated areas of the county. These services include therapy, mentoring, tutoring and parent coaching.  Funds must be accessed through one of the Travis County Community Center Social Workers.

Amount Awarded from 2006-2009:

$32,100

Investment Impact

Approximately 30 youth/children will be assisted

Objective: Improve the availability of services for low/moderate income persons
Award Recipient: Travis County - Family Support Service Division of the Health and Human Services and Veteran Services Department
Eligibility: Low to moderate income children/youth

Children/youth residing on precincts 1 & 4 of the unincorporated areas of the County
