Even though we scheduled your jury service around your conflicts, and despite placing your dates of jury service on your calendar to avoid scheduling conflicts, from time to time a conflict beyond your control may arise prior to your assignment date.

If this occurs, contact the Jury Office as soon as you learn of the conflict so we can work with you to reassign you to a different trial that fits into your new schedule. Depending on your trial assignment, we can accommodate most change requests up to one week prior to the start of your original assignment.

If an emergency (accident or illness of you or a family member, a death in the family) arises immediately prior to your assignment, contact the judge’s office at the phone number on your emailed assignment. The judge has the authority to excuse you or refer you to the Jury Office for reassignment.
