District Clerk
Duration of your service
Most jury trials last no more than a week, many even less. For those not selected, service is usually over at the end of the day – often by 5 p.m. but you should make arrangements to stay into the early evening.
On very rare occasions (and we mean really, really rare), the jurors who were not selected are reassigned to a second trial to participate in voir dire again.
Next: Do you need any special accommodations?
