The Associate Civil Courts of Travis County consist of three courts that hear family disputes in Travis County.

Family Law Docket Rules
- All longer than ½ day settings in family law cases shall be set on the Family Law Docket on any Monday at 8:30.
- All shorter than ½ day settings shall be set on the Family Law
Docket at 8:30 on the following days:
- Wednesday, Thursday or Friday
- Continuances for all family law settings not on central docket shall be at the 9:00 "walk-in docket" on Friday of each week. Continuances of longer than ½ day merits settings shall be heard the Friday one week before the setting. All others shall be heard the Friday before the next week setting.
- Announcement for all longer than ½ day settings shall be the Monday through Wednesday of the week before the setting.
- All family law jury trials will remain on Central Docket.
- All termination merits trials will remain on Central Docket.
- All de novo’s will be set on Family Law Docket.
