Changes to Notifications for Court Appointments

NEW! On May 1st, Court Administration will cease sending new appointments via fax and all appointments will be sent exclusively via e-mail. New appointments can also be viewed by logging into the Travis County Appointment Management System (TCAMS) at http://www.co.travis.tx.us/courts/criminal/tcams/default.asp. Attorneys on the Court Appointments list should verify their email address in TCAMS and make sure that their email account is not near its quota limit.

Rule 166 Standing Order in Family Law Cases

NEW! Effective May 1, 2010, in any divorce suit, suit affecting the parent-child relationship, or suit to modify an order affecting the parent-child relationship, pursuant to Texas Rules of Civil Procedure 63 and 166, amendments to pleadings may be filed after 5:00 p.m. on the Monday two weeks before the week of the trial setting only upon leave of court, which leave shall be granted unless there is a showing that the filing will operate as a surprise to the opposite party.  Rule 166 Standing Order in Family Law Cases
