Elections Division Mission

The Travis County Clerk’s Elections Division conducts and administers special, primary and general elections in Travis County. Services provided include:

  • Applications for Ballot by Mail

    Voters who are eligible to apply for a ballot by mail if they meet one of the following criteria: 65 years or older; sick or disabled; away from the county during an election; or confined in jail but not convicted of a felony.

  • Campaign Finance Filings

    County officeholders and candidates for county office are required by state law to file reports of their campaign contributions and expenditures with the county clerk. Reports are available for public viewing at our offices and on the Elections Division web site.

  • Early Voting

    Travis County’s Main Early Voting location is the County Clerk’s office at 5501 Airport Boulevard. Voters who wish to vote early in person can vote here or at one of the many other convenient early voting locations.

  • Election Night Vote Counting (Central Counting Station)

    The County Clerk’s offices at 5501 Airport Boulevard serves as home for Travis County’s Central Counting Station, where votes are tallied and announced to the public each election.

  • Election Results

    Election results may be ordered on CD format and picked up following each election at the County Clerk’s Airport Boulevard offices. Results also are posted on our web site during each election night and updated as official results are available.

  • Election Worker Training

    Election judges and other workers receive extensive training in election law, procedures and operation of Travis County’s eSlate electronic voting equipment. Training courses are presented at our offices at 5501 Airport Boulevard.

  • Election Workers

    Persons who are interested in volunteering or working for the Travis County Clerk’s Elections Division may complete an application at our offices.

  • Sample Ballots

    Copies of sample ballots are available at our offices and on our web site in the days prior to each election.
