Information for Dealers and Repair Facilities

Attention Automobile Dealers!

Want to be a participating dealer? Complete the participation agreement and mail it with a W9 form to:

***Faxed copies are not accepted.

NOTE: Travis County cannot reimburse a dealer for a voucher until the participation agreement is signed by both parties.

Dealers may use our "Drive a Clean Machine" Powerpoint presentation-2.6Mb (also available as a pdf file-650k) to help train your sales team.

Participating Dealers may visit the TCEQ site for additional information and for program and marketing materials and other important contacts.

Eligible Vehicles

Effective September 1, 2009, vehicles for 2006 model year cars, 2007 model year trucks and 2008 model hybrid vehicles will no longer be eligible under the AirCheck Texas program. Refer to a list of eligible vehicles.

On and after this date the eligible vehicle model years will be 2007 - 2010 for cars, SUV's and vans; 2008 - 2010 for trucks, and current model year (2010) and previous model year (2009) for hybrid vehicles.

**2007 and 2008 hybrid vehicles are eligible for a $3,000 financial incentive.
**2009 and 2010 hybrid vehicles eligible for a $3,500 financial incentive.

Vouchers for redemption must be received by the Travis County AirCheck office within 30 days of the date of sale in order to be reimbursed unless a prior, written waiver is requested and received.

Attention Repair Facilities

Want to become a DPS Certified, Recognized Emissions Repair Facility? More information is available on the Texas Department of Public Safety website.  To become a Participating Repair Facility you must have a signed participation agreement with Travis County to accept vouchers issued by AirCheck Texas - Travis County.
