3 WAYS TO MOVE YOUR VOTE

You've moved your furniture, your clothes, the kids and the dog.
But what about your vote? Your address is very important at
election time! So whether you need to register for the first time
or simply update your contact information, choose one of the
methods below to move your vote today.

  1)  ASK YOUR REALTOR® FOR A VOTER
REGISTRATION APPLICATION

If you are not yet registered, you soon can be. Austin
REALTORS® have joined the Travis County Tax Office
to register voters. Now, many REALTORS® are becoming
Volunteer Deputy Registrars, meaning they can accept
completed, signed voter applications. Volunteer Deputy
Registrars deliver voter applications in person within
five days of receipt.

Or, if you prefer to obtain a voter application online, visit:

Spanish version - Voter Registration Application

  2)  UPDATE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION ONLINE

If you are a registered voter moving within Travis County, you may update your address online at https://www.texasonline.state.tx.us/NASApp/sos/SOSACManager.

Within 30 days of updating your address, you’ll receive your voter certificate. Use this new certificate to vote in your new precinct.

  3)  SEND CORRECTED CARD BY MAIL

If you are a registered voter moving within Travis County and you have your voter certificate, write your new address on it, sign it and send it to:

P.O. Box 149327
Austin, TX 78714-9327

Or, deliver your voter certificate to any of the five Travis County Tax Office locations.
